Bioflex shares its circular economy vision at Plastics Recycling LATAM 2026
Sustainability within the plastics industry can no longer be viewed as a future concept. Today, it represents a real need for transformation, innovation, and shared responsibility. With this vision in mind, Bioflex participated in Plastics Recycling LATAM 2026 through its conference “Bioflex Success Case”, a space dedicated to sharing how circular economy principles can be integrated into industrial operations in a tangible and measurable way.
The conference, presented by Moisés Jiménez, brought together different perspectives on recycling, innovation, and the future of flexible packaging in Latin America. Through this success case, Bioflex showcased how sustainable initiatives can evolve beyond concepts and become real operational actions capable of generating impact across the plastics value chain.
During the presentation, Bioflex shared several of the projects and developments currently shaping the company’s sustainability strategy, including solutions focused on recyclability, the integration of recycled content, and the recovery of post-industrial and agricultural plastic waste.
Among the initiatives highlighted were Bioflex’s approach to recyclable mono-material structures, technologies designed to incorporate recycled content, and projects such as Agriflex — an initiative focused on recovering and transforming agricultural plastic waste to reintegrate it into productive processes.
Beyond packaging itself, the conference also explored the importance of rethinking the relationship between innovation, industry, and sustainability. The goal is not only to develop more efficient materials, but to build systems capable of extending the value of resources while reducing environmental impact in a scalable and measurable way.
Bioflex’s participation in Plastics Recycling LATAM 2026 reinforces the company’s commitment to developing solutions that support a more circular, collaborative, and future-ready plastics industry.
Because transforming the industry also means transforming the way we imagine what comes next.
